Jaroslav Nechyba

He is a leading BIM expert with extensive experience developing and implementing BIM strategies
based on his decades of practical experience developing and delivering solutions for the construction
industry. He led the expert team 2017 that wrote the national strategy and, for five years, headed
the Czech authority's digitization efforts to implement their national BIM strategy to streamline
information management in the public sector with a positive impact on whole supply chains. The

information management in the public sector positively affect entire supply chains. This involves,
among other things, changes in laws, regulations, processes and frameworks for work in the whole
public sector and for a single organisation. It also includes developing and implementing
standardized information requirements in organisations and projects based on implementing
international standards in practice.

He is a freelancer working on interesting projects in different parts of Europe. He helps to help
national activities and large organizations implement BIM in practice. For 6 years (2018-2024), he
was a Czech Standardization Agency representative at the EU BIM Task Group platform. He also
served as deputy chair and co-chair of the Construction Classification International Collaboration
(CCIC) organization's trustee board.
